1UP Guard™ sweat solution is an underarm sweat protection adhesive patch designed for anyone seeking to prevent underarm sweat stains, including those with heavy or excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
It adheres directly to the skin and serves as an absorbent barrier between sweat and your clothes to prevent underarm sweat stains on clothing.

Is this product a deodorant or antiperspirant?
No, 1UP Guard™ patches are neither a deodorant nor an antiperspirant.
It is an advanced physical barrier and absorbent patch. It works by physically adhering to the skin and using its superabsorbent core to lock away moisture and prevent sweat from reaching your clothing.
Critically, 1UP Guard™ patches are not a drug product and does not contain any active drug ingredients like aluminum chloride or aluminum zirconium.
What is a Superabsorbent?
A superabsorbent is a material that can absorb and retain extremely large amounts of liquid relative to its own mass, typically many times its weight. These materials, also known as Superabsorbent Polymers (SAPs), are a key component in many advanced wound care and fluid-control products.
In 1UP Guard™ patches, the superabsorbent core is the primary layer that absorbs and locks away sweat, keeping your clothes dry and comfortable all day.
What's so great about Silicone adhesives?
It's all about providing a strong hold that's incredibly gentle on your skin.
Unlike traditional acrylic or rubber-based adhesives, our silicone adhesive provides a low-trauma bond, making it ideal for the delicate underarm area. It's also repositionable, allowing a degree of adjustability.
Plus, it's hypoallergenic and latex-free, so it's a safe choice even for the most sensitive skin. Its permeability also allows air and moisture vapor to pass through the patch.

What's with the shape?
The shape of our patch is the result of a lot of thought and care to provide effective coverage for the unique and challenging underarm area.
The underarm is an awkward space that changes shape with every movement of your arm. The arc cuts along the edges and the pill-shaped cutouts in the middle allow the patch to flex and move with you, ensuring it stays securely in place with minimal discomfort.

How do I know what size to buy?

- Visual Reference: To help you envision the sizes, the Size Guide also uses common objects as references, such as a Standard Credit Card (similar to Size 1's Absorbent layer) and a Standard Index Card (similar to Size 3's Absorbent layer).
- The Discovery Kit: If you are a new customer, we highly recommend starting with The Discovery Kit (mixed sizes). This allows you to physically try on the size range suggested by the Estimator and confirm the perfect size for your unique underarm contours.
💡 Tip: Initially, try to match up the Absorbent layer of the patch with your axillary (underarm) hair-bearing area. The choice between a snug fit or extra coverage is ultimately up to your personal preference.
What is the difference between the Discovery, Moment, and Reserve Kits?

The Discovery Kit (2 Patches):

How do I use 1UP Guard™ patches?
Just like an adhesive wound bandage, with some minor tweaks and considerations.
Fold the patch first, then slowly remove one half of the adhesive's protective liner (the Clear Liner covering the sticky side). Maintain a 90° arm angle laterally to your torso (straight out to the sides).
Align the patch with your underarm area and apply directly to the skin. Repeat for the upper half and once firmly secured, remove the decorative paper backing liners (the non-adhesive top layer).
TL;DR FOLD - PEEL - STICK - PEEL may be the easiest way to think about it.

How long does one patch last?
Our patches are engineered to provide up to 8 hours of wear, which is perfect for getting you through a full workday or a long event with confidence.
The exact wear time and performance can vary from person to person, depending on factors like your activity level and personal sweat rate. By designing the patches for a comfortable, single-day use, we can ensure the best performance while also helping to maintain optimal skin health.
Can I wear the patch overnight while I sleep?
We do not recommend wearing the patches overnight.
Our patches are engineered for up to 8 hours of comfortable, single-day use to provide protection during work, events, or regular daily activity. For optimal skin health and to prevent potential over-adhesion, please remove the patch at the end of the day using the recommended gentle removal methods before going to sleep.
Are the patches reusable?
Our patches are designed for single use only.
For optimal performance and hygiene, we do not recommend using a patch more than once. Reusing a patch can compromise the effectiveness of the adhesive and the absorbent core, which is designed to provide all-day confidence with one-time use.
How much sweat does a patch absorb?
While the amount of sweat a patch can absorb depends on your personal sweat rate, we've designed our patches to handle a significant amount of moisture.
The core of each patch is comprised of an advanced superabsorbent material that can hold up to 20 times its own weight in moisture, effectively locking away sweat to keep you dry all day.
Do 1UP Guard™ patches help prevent or reduce body odor?
1UP Guard™ patches are designed primarily for visual hygiene - preventing underarm sweat stains - by acting as a powerful physical and absorbent barrier.
Odor-causing bacteria require liquid sweat to break down precursors into pungent molecules. By utilizing a superabsorbent core that actively draws in and locks away excess liquid sweat, the patch works to limit the moisture availability on the skin surface. This sequestration of liquid sweat is known to discourage the proliferation of odor-causing bacteria by managing a critical environmental factor.
Important Note: 1UP Guard™ patches are not chemically formulated as a deodorant or an antiperspirant (drug product). Users prioritizing odor prevention should continue to use their preferred sweat solution on areas of the underarm that are not covered by the patch.
Can I wear it with deodorant or antiperspirant?
For our patches to provide the best possible performance, they must be applied directly to clean, dry skin.
Most deodorants and antiperspirants leave behind a residue or contain ingredients that can interfere with our gentle, medical-grade adhesive, preventing the patch from sticking securely.
For this reason, we recommend applying the patch to a thoroughly clean and dry underarm before you use any other products. If you still wish to use a deodorant for odor control, you can apply it to other areas of your underarm not covered by the patch.
Is it waterproof? Can I swim or shower while wearing it?
Our patches are designed to be highly breathable and moisture-resistant, but they are not waterproof.
Because the core layer is engineered to absorb moisture, the patch is not suitable for activities like swimming or showering. For the best performance, please apply the patch to clean, dry skin.
Can I work out with the patch on?
We do not recommend wearing the patches during a workout or any other vigorous activity.
Intense arm movements may interfere with the adhesive, causing the patch to shift or lose its hold. For optimal comfort and protection, the patches are best used for daily wear during regular activities.
Can 1UP Guard™ patches be used on other parts of the body?
1UP Guard™ patches were specifically designed and engineered for the unique, high-movement geometry of the underarm (axilla) to ensure maximum adhesion, comfort, and coverage in that area.
For this reason, we cannot recommend or guarantee performance for use on other areas of the body. If you choose to use the patch on a different area, please note that the patch may not conform optimally and that such use is at your own discretion and risk. We always advise performing a patch test on a small area of skin first.

Our patches are manufactured in a certified cleanroom by a U.S. manufacturer with extensive experience in medical devices and wearable patches. The facility is registered with the FDA and certified with ISO 13485:2016, an international quality standard for medical devices.
We use components sourced from leading suppliers in the U.S. and E.U. The medical backing tape and absorbent core have both been tested to rigorous international standards to ensure they are safe and biocompatible with skin.
Is this product hypoallergenic?
Yes. We have taken great care to ensure our entire patch is designed for sensitive skin.
The medical backing tape is independently tested and certified as non-irritating, and our absorbent core material has also been tested to rigorous international standards, confirming it is non-toxic and biocompatible with skin. The adhesive is latex-free, making them a safe choice for individuals with latex allergies.
Can I use this on broken, irritated, or sunburnt skin?
No. For your safety and comfort, our patches are designed for use on healthy, intact skin only.
The medical-grade adhesive and absorbent core are designed to be gentle and non-irritating for everyday use, but applying them to compromised skin could cause further discomfort or worsen the condition. Please wait until your skin is fully healed before using the patches.
Can the patch be worn with underarm hair?
While the medical-grade silicone adhesive is gentle, applying the patch to shaved, trimmed, or hair-free skin will always yield the best adhesion and the most comfortable, low-trauma removal.
If you have significant underarm hair, we strongly recommend trimming or shaving the area where the patch will be applied to ensure a secure, all-day hold and to minimize discomfort upon removal.
How do I remove the patch properly to avoid irritation?
The underarm is a sensitive area, and the key to a gentle removal is to go LOW & SLOW. Never rip the patch off like a conventional adhesive bandage, as this can increase the risk of skin irritation.
We recommend one of the following methods for a smooth and comfortable experience:
- The Roll Method: Carefully lift a corner of the patch. While supporting the skin at the peel line with your other hand, gently roll the patch back over itself with your fingertip.
- Using a Moisturizer: If you encounter resistance while rolling, apply a small amount of petroleum jelly or moisturizer to the peel line as you slowly roll the patch away. This will help soften the adhesive.
- The Stretch Method: Carefully lift an edge and stretch the patch slowly and horizontally along the skin, away from the center of the patch.

What should I do if there is adhesive residue? Can I use alcohol to remove it?
While our patches are designed for a clean removal, in the rare case that there is any residue, you can use bandage adhesive remover products to help.
It is important to know that this particular silicone-based adhesive is not readily dissolved by alcohol, so we do not recommend using it for removal. Petroleum Jelly and Moisturizers can also soften the adhesive before washing off properly.
What should I do if my skin is sensitive or gets irritated?
While our patches are designed to be gentle on sensitive skin, the underarm area can be particularly delicate. If you know you are sensitive to medical adhesives, we recommend consulting a medical professional prior to use. For extra precaution, you may consider using a medical skin barrier product to act as a protective layer between your skin and the patch.
In the rare event that skin irritation occurs despite proper use, rest the irritated area to heal on its own over the next few days. If the irritation persists, immediately stop using the patches and consult a medical professional.

Our aim is to process all 1UP Guard™ orders within 1~3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Orders received after 2:00 PM Central Time will begin processing on the next business day.
Shipping Rates and Services
Shipping costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. These rates are determined by the United States Postal Service.
We currently offer three service tiers via the United States Postal Service (USPS):
- USPS Ground Advantage (standard economy)
- USPS Priority Mail (expedited 2–3 days)
- USPS Priority Mail Express (urgent 1–2 days)
Delivery Expectations and Liability
Please take into account weekends and holidays when considering the total delivery timeframe. While we guarantee your order will be shipped within the stated 1~3 business day processing time, we are not responsible for delays in transit once the package has been handed over to the United States Postal Service. Estimated delivery times do not include the time required to receive, prepare, package, and ship your order.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, 1UP Guard™ is based in Chicago, IL, and we ship exclusively within the United States via USPS.

The policy differs based on the product purchased to honor our commitment to hygiene and quality.
1. The Discovery Kit: Our Risk-Free Performance Guarantee
The Discovery Kit (2-pack, mixed sizes) is designed for new customers to confirm the product's fit and performance with no financial risk.
- If you are not satisfied with the performance of the patch after trying one patch from your Discovery Kit.
- You must contact us within 30 calendar days of the original delivery date.
- We will issue a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs.
- No return of the patches is required. This saves you time and costs, and allows us to stand firmly behind our guarantee.
2. Moment Kit & Reserve Kit: Hygiene and Safety Policy
The Moment Kit (4-pack) and Reserve Kit (10-pack) are sealed for your protection and designed for users who have already confirmed their satisfaction with the Discovery Kit.
For hygiene and safety, we must adhere to a strict unopened policy for all bulk kits.
- The kit is eligible for return only if the outer, vacuum- and heat-sealed foil pouch is completely intact and unopened, with no signs of the tear notch being used or the seal broken.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of the original delivery date.
- We will issue a full refund of the purchase price upon successful inspection of the unopened kit.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs. We cannot accept returns on any kit where the outer seal of the foil pouch has been broken, regardless of how many individual cold-sealed pouches remain inside.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong items due to an error on our part, please contact us immediately (within 7 calendar days of delivery). We will promptly send a replacement at no charge to you or issue a full refund, and we will cover all associated shipping costs.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once your return or refund request is approved:
- Refund Initiation: We will initiate the refund within 5-7 business days of approving the claim (for the Discovery Kit) or receiving and inspecting the unopened returned bulk kit.
- Bank Processing: It may take an additional 3-5 business days for the funds to post to your original method of payment, depending on your bank.
